I have always had an interest in wildlife. To spend time in the surrounding landscape has at all times given me pleasure and has also been a good way to charge my batteries during hectic periods in life.
After retirement my interest in birds grew from just watching them on my local patch or feeding them in my garden into observing them in different habitats using not only binoculars but also a spotting scope. A natural consequence of this development was a wish to document what I saw. In 2016 I bought a Nikon D500. My images are processed in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
